The Network Phase 2 Objectives
The project
approach and associated workprogramme are
addressing the following issues, in order to support the ambitious goals
set by the ACARE Group for 2020:

Elaboration of a technology development strategy aimed at new generations of noise reduction means , including the associated adaptation of research infrastructures and potential synergies with national efforts.

Elaboration of a development plan for impact assessment tools and instruments aimed at airport noise planning and management

Regular communication of technology prospects towards regulatory bodies and general public, aimed at transparency of dialog and realistic nature of expectations

Cross fertilisation of the noise research community through active information exchange and management

Extension of current projects partnership towards new organisations bringing added value
